Shapiro’s career in music entertainment has been memorable, producing shows for big name. groups as owner of several of New York’s most beloved music venues such as the Wetlands Preserve, the Brooklyn Bowl, a music venue and bowling alley, and the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y. He is also a filmmaker, magazine publisher, author and entrepreneur. He is widely known as the promoter for Fare Thee Well: Celebrating 50 Years of the Grateful Dead, and the founder of the widely acclaimed music festival LOCK’N.  Shapiro will talk with Mark Leavitt, his longtime friend and fellow music lover about his legendary career.
